Normal Service has Resumed

Thanks to my dearly beloved my lap-top lives once again. Hence normal service can resume. I'm aware I have a couple of projects which have gone on hiatus along with this blog - including the OSRIC Necromancer rules and the survival guides. Hence, I'll be posting the Thief's guide tomorrow.

In the meantime, the resurrection of George (that's my lap-top, by the way) means that our irregular OSRIC game has resumed. We've played two more sessions so far (with nary a combat in sight) and begin a third tonight. The write-up for the first of these two new sessions is already up on the Obsidian Portal page (click here for link) Due to the short notice for the last session (we were supposed to be going to the cinema for one player's birthday but he decided he wanted to game instead) I couldn't do much prep. The result was that the party walked right past the one hook for the single adventure plot I had time to plan, sending me on a frantic scrabble for something to do. So we are about to partake in the original Trial of Champions from Dungeon magazine. Only in this case, it's called the Shorn Festival. Not my ideal choice for a scenario but their we go. We shall see how things progress tonight.

It's good to be back in the blog-spot.
